I’m thinking about opening a web site that offers antiques and collectibles for sale. What do you think about that? That’s not all I plan to offer various items for sale in my eBay Store. Most of these items will be very reasonably priced. I believe if you give people a good price they will come back again and again. I would rather make a small profit and keep busy than to make a larger profit and been sitting there waiting for customers. I have a million ideas to work with. Unfortunately, it will take time to implement all of them. I’m sure some of the ideas may not turn out to be very good and others may do better. I wish that I had the time to try my ideas a lot faster, but like most of you I have a full time position working for the man. Most of my ideas have to do with experimenting with what kind of things that people may buy on eBay. It’s a little tuff to experiment with selling things when you can’t find a trusting wholesale company to buy products from. One thing you can count on, if I get scammed or ripped off while trying to start an eBay business, you will all be the first to know about it. I’ll give you company names and details of what happened. Remember the reason that I’m doing this Blog is to share with you my mistakes and good luck. So if someone takes advantage of me, they won’t get to take advantage of you. If you know of any company that I should stay away from, please don’t hesitate to let me know. In fact, I will share your story with everyone else. Don’t worry, I won’t mention where I got the information from. Let’s just hope that I can stay away from the scammers. At this time, I stay away from companies that offer people their own web sites and also offer to supply the products for you to sell on that web site. Think about it. If a company sells you a web site and it also sell 1000 people the same web site, what are the chances that anyone is going to just shop at yours or even be able to find yours? Answer, they’re not. People like to have different products to choose from. Competition is what makes this country great. There’s no competition in the same products from the same company listed on a 1000 different web sites. The only one that is going to make any money is the company that sold you a web site. Let me guess, 1000 people times $99.00 for a web site. Gee, that’s a pretty good profit selling web sites…..$99,000. What do they care if you don’t sell anything? They already made their sale. I have a company in mind that offers web sites and plan on trying them real soon. I’ll keep you posted. Oh yea, they don’t offer you products to sell they leave that up to you. Their business is designing web sites not selling products. I’ll let you know as soon as I start using them and you can check out my web site. Remember, good or bad, I’m going to let you know. One last thing, I’m not a computer geek so the web site better be easy to use. If not, I’m let you know. Well gotta go for now.
